About Flexographic Printing Inks

We are the noteworthy manufacturer, exporter and supplier of Flexographic Printing Inks that are extensively demanded in printing press. These inks are formulated by making use of optimum grade colors and chemical compounds under the surveillance of our ingenious professionals. Besides this, we offer this Flexographic Printing Inks in different packaging options to meet the varied needs of our valuable client. Our offered inks are examined on various measures to assure their quality. Clients can get these inks from us at pocket friendly prices.

Features:

  • High colour strength at low viscosity.

  • Rapid drying by absorption into the substrate.

  • Can be formulated for low slip, enhanced rub product resistance.

  • Water based flexo inks are used for wide variety of application.

Description: Worldtex water based inks are formulated for flexo printing on absorbent substrates. They are characterised by their ability to provide high quality prints and maximum brightness over bleached, oyster and brown substrates.

Technical Information And Ink Handling

  • Substrate: Bleached oyster and brown kraft used in sacks, corrugated and solid fibre board Cases, sulphite papers used in bags and wrapping papers. Other paper based materials including certain coated stocks.

  • Reduction: Reduced with water only to printviscosity at high speed (3000- 5000 impression /Hour) viscosities as low as 17 seconds, Zahn 2 may be used on slower case printers viscosities of around 30 seconds may be more appropriate (1000-3000 impression/hour). The optimum PH value for printing is 8.5 - 9 is recommended.

  • Wash up: Water is normally used. However if inks have been allowed to dry on the rollers or stereos, propylene glycolethyl or a mild alkali solution may be necessary to fully remove dried inks.

  • Rollers and Stereos: Worldtex inks are water based and may be used with all normal rubber or photo polymer stereos. Mild steel rollers should not be used as they are liable to corrode.

  • Colour range: Worldtex inks are available in a range of single pigmented colours suited to in-house blending operations or as matched shades. Although the pigments used in Worldtex Flexo have a reasonable degree of light fastness, they are not normally suited to extended exposure to direct sunlight. For some colours improved light fastness can be made available. This requirement should be discussed with our technical service personnel prior to ordering.

  • Storage: Being water based Worldtex Inks are not considered highly inflammable.

Premium Quality and Versatility

Our flexographic inks utilize advanced resin, pigment, solvent, and additives, resulting in excellent compatibility across diverse substrates. Whether printing on paper, board, film, or foil, these inks adhere seamlessly and produce vibrant, lasting prints. Their balanced pH and fine particle size ensure smooth machine operation and high-quality output.

Enhanced Durability and Resistance

Formulated for good rub, water, and chemical resistance, our inks provide robust protection for printed materials. They maintain visual clarity and adhesion even in challenging environments, making them suitable for packaging, labelling, and high-traffic applications requiring longevity.

Efficient and Reliable Application

Flexographic printing inks are designed for bulk packaging and easy handling within flexographic printing machines. The air or heat curing process optimizes production speed and consistency, while various container sizes suit both standard and custom requirements, enhancing workflow flexibility.

FAQs of Flexographic Printing Inks:

Q: How do these flexographic printing inks achieve efficient drying?

A: The inks are designed to dry quickly through air or heat curing methods, ensuring rapid turnaround and reliable adhesion on paper, board, film, and foil substrates without compromising print quality.

Q: What substrates can I use these inks on?

A: Our flexographic inks exhibit excellent adhesion to a range of substrates, including paper, cardboard, films, and foils, providing vivid and durable prints in various packaging and labelling applications.

Q: When should I use custom colors or container sizes?

A: Custom colors and container sizes are ideal for projects that require specific branding, design needs, or unique substrate compatibility. They allow for tailored solutions to match your exact production requirements.

Q: Where should flexographic printing inks be stored?

A: To preserve performance and shelf life, store the inks in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Proper storage conditions help maintain pigment concentration and viscosity for up to 12 months from the manufacturing date.

Q: What is the benefit of high pigment concentration in these inks?

A: The high pigment concentration ensures every print is bold and vivid, resulting in enhanced visual appeal and clarity, which is essential for high-impact packaging and advertising materials.

Q: How to ensure optimal performance during usage?

A: Use the inks exclusively in flexographic printing machines and follow recommended handling procedures. Select bulk containers for efficient operation, ensuring consistent ink flow, stable pH levels (7.0 to 8.5), and particle size below 5 micron for best results.
